Reliable Answers to Our Most Common Questions
Where is your pricing?
How long does remediation take?
Can your company be discrete?
Our business requires documentation of OSHA certifications to handle biohazards. Can you provide this?
I can only work with vendors approved by my city or county. Are you approved?
Are you covered by insurance?
Yes, 3 Birds Bio is fully insured and bonded for your safety.
My family member died and decomposed, and they lived in the middle of nowhere, not close to any big city. I live in another state. Do you serve outlying areas, and can you work with someone who is remote?
Yes absolutely. A lot of our callouts are for unattended deaths in small towns. We have relationships with many of the sheriffs and PDs in the smaller towns outside of the cities and in the Hill Country. We understand that people die everywhere, and families need
help regardless of location.
Will you give estimates site unseen.
Occasionally if sufficient pictures are provided and we know the date of passing, we can provide an estimate without seeing the space.
Do your quotes fluctuate or are they a fixed amount?
We typically provide “not to exceed” quotes so you know exactly what to expect when the job is over. If we are asked to quote a job site unseen, we will confirm the pricing originally provided over the phone is correct once we arrive.
Do you require payment up front?
We require half of the quoted amount to be paid in advance of the job starting, and the other half when complete.
Do you accept credit cards?
We accept credit cards through a PayPal account but there is a 3% service fee.
Can I be onsite to watch the cleanup?
We allow our customers in the same home, but not the same room where the technicians are working.
How long does a typical cleanup take?
A typical job can be complete in one 10-hour day, usually. For heavily decomposed remains, or large fluid furniture, it could take longer.
Do you just work in the Houston/Austin/San Antonio areas or other areas?
We work the entire state of Texas, no town too big or too small. We are also legally authorized to work in New Mexico, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana.
